First to Introduce Sheet Piling Technology in Georgia
ERTI became the first company in Georgia to introduce and use sheet piling technology in 2016, pioneering vibration-free Giken silent piling for Georgian construction industry.
In 2016, ERTI Ltd was founded with a single goal: introduce sheet piling technology to Georgia. Guided by trade partners in the Netherlands, the company studied sheet pile systems, analysed the Georgian construction market, and launched its first projects in Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi.
Within the first year, ERTI completed seven major foundation projects and invested in a full piling fleet: two Giken Silent Pilers from Japan and one conventional press-in piler. The Giken machines — vibration-free and noise-free — made ERTI the only contractor in Georgia capable of working adjacent to heritage buildings, live roads, and sensitive urban infrastructure.
The company appeared on a Georgian documentary covering innovative construction technologies, marking public recognition of ERTI's contribution to the Georgian construction industry.
